Classes for the 2017 school year begin on Sept. 12th. An Open House will be on Saturday April 22nd 12-3pm (check back for more open house dates). We are now accepting enrollment for 2017-18. Enrollment is capped at 15 students, after that those interested will be put on a waitlist and accepted as space becomes available.
At the time of registration, a non-refundable $40 annual preschool registration fee will be due, along with first month’s tuition and a $100 down payment toward your last month’s tuition. If you choose to quit without giving 30 day notice, the $100 payment will be non-refundable. Monthly tuition is $220 per student, and due on the 1st of the month, for the duration of the school year, September through June.
Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-12:00pm. School year runs Sept. 13th through June 22nd. The preschool will be closed to observe the following: Thanksgiving - Nov. 24th, Christmas Break – Dec. 19th-30th, Spring Break April 3rd-7th, Presidents Day Break – Feb. 21st. In the event that local public schools are closed for inclement weather, the preschool will be canceled for that day as well. Inclement weather closures will run in conjunction with Central Kitsap School District closures. Parents please use your judgment in bad driving conditions-safety is our first priority. Emergency closures will be on our voicemail and an email will be sent out immediately if a closure will occur.
Students should bring their own snack each day with their name on it. Please avoid bringing any foods made with nuts. Be sure to note any food allergies your child may have on your registration paperwork and let the teachers know as well.
Your child should stay home from school if he/she has thrown up and/or had a fever in the last 24 hours. A child with diarrhea should be kept at home as well. If your child has a cold and their runny nose is clear, it is OK for them to attend. If the runny nose is not clear but more yellowish, they should stay home. Contagious diseases such as chicken pox, pink eye and 5ths disease should be kept home. Remember, preschoolers can pass on all kinds of germs. We will do our part to keep the environment clean and germ free and as well as help teach the kids how to blow their nose and wash their hands frequently.
Please pull your car up by the front door of the studio for drop off and pick up. The teachers will meet you there to help your child indoors. They will also bring the children out to the cars at the end of the day. You do not need to exit your car. If possible, please have your child's car seat on the left side of the car as we help to buckle them in. The teachers will start going out to cars about 5 minutes before the start/end time of each class. Please arrive as close to these times as possible. If you are more than 10 minutes late to drop off your child you will need to pull into a parking spot and walk your child in. If you arrive too early for class you will need to wait in your car until the teachers are ready.
