She attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation she began her teaching career in Indianapolis where she taught 4th grade for 5 years. During her final year, she became a mother of identical twin girls at which time she made the decision to stay home to raise her daughters. Her family then transferred here to the beautiful PNW in 2005 and has been here ever since. While here, she had the opportunity to own and operate her own preschool business teaching as the lead instructor for 7 years. Her teaching philosophy is learning through movement based preschool with both Montessori and traditional classroom influences. Teaching young minds is her true passion and she feels fortunate to have this opportunity to do so with your children.
